Colorado master planned community Stonegate is going to get a little bit larger.  Final plans have been filed with Douglas County allowing the construction of 63 new homes along Jordan Road and Aventerra Parkway in Stonegate.

The owner of the land and developer of Stonegate is in final negotiations with a builder to sell the parcel.  Originally, many more homes were planned for the land facing E470 and Jordan Road.  Last year, the developer worked with the county to change all of the land to a residential zoning (from commercial).  The land not included in the sale to the builder is still zoned residential.

Also last year, the residents of Stonegate voted to allow this new area be included within the Stonegate Village Owners Association.  The same covenants that govern Stonegate will also cover these new homes.  The homes will reside in the Lincoln Park Metropolitan District.
